The Rural Oklahoma Museum of Poetry and Zhenya Yevtushenko collaborated for a special celebration of the birthday of Zhenya’s father, the late great poet Yevgeny Yevtushenko, who lived many years in Tulsa, where he died in 2017.
The celebration included a reading by Zhenya of some of his father’s poems, some audience interaction, a Q&A session, and excellent refreshments. There will also be door prizes for everyone.
