Those who can, TEACH: LG Teachers Who Made an Impact
Teachers create communities. The influence they have on the children and the families of those children is immeasurable. In 2026, The Rural Oklahoma Museum of Poetry (ROMP) honors a few Locust Grove teachers who shaped the community with a small exhibit called Those Who Can, TEACH.
Visitors are encouraged to add their own memories of the teachers on display or other LG teachers that influenced them through the years.
This exhibit will be a part of a new LG Room at the museum, which will also include a history display created by Hugh Callery, Jr.
