Traveling Program

ROMP likes to travel to various festivals and events to set up and offer free prizes for people writing poems. It is a wonderful exchange of art, ideas, inspiration and creativity. And everyone goes home with a prize! Below are some photos from past events. We are usually the hit of the event, as everyone likes to get something for free.

ROMP Director Shaun Perkins can also set up her manual typewriter and type poems in a minute for attendees of an event, conference, festival or similar occasion. She has done this at various locations, including the Woody Guthrie Center, the John Hope Franklin Annual Symposium, Spirit of Storytelling Festival, and others.
