ROMP’s newest book club Little-Known Classics, explores phenomenal books considered classics in their field that are not as well-known today. The books are all fiction except one book of poetry, and they address a variety of themes with diverse writing styles. The books are suitable for teens and adults. The book club is facilitated by ROMP Director Shaun Perkins, who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in discussing books and facilitating fun and inclusive conversations.
To encourage as much participation as possible, the book club meets twice in the same day. Pick the meetings you can attend. You do not have to attend every meeting. You can check out a book in advance to have it read by the meeting time or you can find your own book. Stop by the museum Wed-Sat, 10-2, to sign up and/or get a book or email us to set up a time.
The book club will meet on the third Thursday of the month. At 9:00 a.m., we will meet in the back room at Hometown Coffee, 118 E. Main. At 5:30 p.m., on the same day, we will meet at the museum at 114 E. Main.
