ROMP executive director Shaun Perkins conducts book club and poetry programs within the Northeastern Oklahoma area (sometimes a bit farther) as part of the museum’s mission of making the experience of poetry available to everyone. For nonprofit organizations, her professional services are free of charge, although there may be a minimum mileage fee.
Currently, Perkins has been facilitating a book club group at Jess Dunn Correctional Center in Taft, with all fees, including books, paid for by ROMP. In 2026, ROMP is interested in helping a limited number of non-profits serve their community, especially adults and teenagers who are in at-risk and alternative education situations.
