The Rural Oklahoma Museum of Oklahoma’s hometown is Locust Grove. At the LG Chamber’s Scenic 412 Cruise & Crawl event this year, ROMP is sponsoring a My First Car Contest.
Tell us about your first car. Children or teens can tell us about their first toy car. Describe it, explain an experience in it, tell a story, etc.
Contestants should bring the car or a photo of it to the contest. All contestants will need to read something they have written about their car or talk about it at
Wonder City Coffee on Oct. 13 at 2:00 p.m.
Prizes in Two Categories (Under 16 & 16 and Up)
1st Place: $50
2nd Place: $25
3rd Place: $15
RULES:
- The ideas, including any writing, must be the original work of the person submitting it.
- Anyone can enter the contest.
- Submissions will be judged based on creativity, imagery, and clarity.
- Length maximum: Less than 5 minutes of speaking time
