Poems for the Pandemic

DSC03538The Rural Oklahoma Museum of Poetry is 501(c)(3) nonprofit that receives the majority of its funds from ROMP Rummage Store, which has been closed since March 14 because of the pandemic. The store may not be able to re-open for quite some time. In the meantime, rent at the rummage store, utilities (electric and water/sewer at rummage store and electric and trash at museum) and insurance still need to be paid.

Also, the museum’s work is ongoing with poetry contests that offer cash prizes and free online events open to everyone.

How can you help? Let ROMP director Shaun Perkins write you a personalized poem. Then you can “pay for” the poem with any amount from $5 to ??? All proceeds will go to paying the bills for the rummage store and museum. If you would like a poem for yourself or someone else and cannot pay for it, that’s cool. Shaun will still write it for you.

To get your personalized poem, fill out the form below. Be sure to note if you would like the poem written for someone else as a gift.

You can pay for your poem by sending a check to ROMP, PO Box 1243, Locust Grove OK 74352 or by paying with a credit card/PayPal with the button below. THANK YOU!
