Craig’s List Poetry: Ejecutive

Ejecutive

One minute I was attempting
To figure out email
And the next I was flying
Through the sky,
My bald head ringed
With acoustic ceiling tile,
Bits of white fluff stuck
In my ears and suit pocket,
My flight impossible,
The noise of the wind
Unbearable, though laughter
Issuing up from the break
Room was entirely audible.

–Shaun Perkins

This poem was based on the following Craig’s List ad (thanks to Kelly for finding it for me!). Look on your key pad–the J is nowhere near the X.
